30th April 2017 - 13 Years of Pub Fest!

 

2017 Pub Fest Route


There are a number of ways to make sure you get to visit all the 13 participating pubs in the 2016 Pub Fest.

Walking

It is easy to walk within the Portside Precinct and CBD - with a concentration of 8 participating pubs.  
A further two pubs are within walking distance through the CBD streets.
There is no consumption of alcohol allowed in the public streets.

Shuttle buses

Jump on board one of the Pub Fest shuttle buses  operating through the route with support from Wide Bay Transit, linking the Maryborough CBD with the outlying and suburban pubs, it's safe! 

Buses will depart approx every 10 minutes from the designated bus stops. 
Bus monitors will be at all stops and on the buses to assist with quick transfers on and off the buses to minimize delays.
There is no drinking allowed on the buses.

The Free Shuttle service is only available if you have purchased a Crawl Card.

You can arrange to have your own designated driver accompany you on your trip through the venues.
Your Driver must be registered with the Event HQ located on at City Hall forecourt, and are entitled to free water / soft drinks at the participating venues.

 

Remember:
In order to enter the $1,000 prize drawer for event attendees, your card must be:

  1. Stamped at all participating venues;
  2. Handed in at the last venue your visit before the event close time of 8:00 pm on Sunday 30 April 2017.

Road closures will be in place to ensure the safety of our event participants and community.

Traffic controllers will be in place - please make sure that you heed their instructions for everyone's safety and enjoyment.

Travelling from Hervey Bay?

Don't miss out on the Pub Fest bus service provided by Wide Bay Transit.  Cost is $10 per person, each way.

Depart -
Hervey Bay Transit Centre, Stocklands Shopping Centre at 11:15am
You will arrive at Maryborough City Hall, Kent Street, in time for you to purchase your crawl card and any merchandise before starting.

Return - 
Maryborough City Hall at 8:30 pm
Arriving back at Stocklands Shopping Centre.
